I have just started training and wanted to ask about removal of gel. Do you have to file of all of the product from nails or do you leave a thin layer. I know gel sticks to gel but somone mentioned to me that you have to remove all the product before applying a new set of nails.
This is a really great site full of information for someone like me who is just starting out.
Thanks for the help
Karen

If you are rebalancing then you don't need to remove all of the existing gel, gel adheres to either a natural nail that has bonder on it, a 180 grit surface or the inhibition layer (sticky layer) of gel.

If you're removing without replacing any product then you are fine to leave a thin layer of gel on the nails.
