Retail....pricing!!!!

Hi All,

I've been giving my retail items a lot of thought and have purchased several different items i.e. toe rings, files etc..!! What I would like to know is how you decide on how much you are going to retail them at....!!! Is there a guideline to go buy....or just a figure of the top of your head to cover the cost you paid for them and of course to make a profit.....!!!!!!!

I would appreciate any more idea's of what to retail in my home-based salon...!!

not sure about any suggestions of what to sell but most places do betweena 50-100% mark up depending on the product.

Agreed - my margins are anywhere between 30 and 100%. On high volume low priced items the margin is less, and on low volume high priced items the margin is higher.
