Hello All,

I want to start retailing bits in the salon, and apart from the obvious

- Nail Files, Buffs, Treatments for Nails (to put into a kit)
- Facial retail size products
- Foot Pumices...

What else could I do, along the lines of tweezers - But then does this defeat the objuect if people come to you for eye brow shapes? I thought maybe for a tidy up, if they needed to?

Can you give me some help with what items are good to sell to clients?

Thanks loads

Carly x

body brushes
facial sponges
Hairbands/clips
footfiles
makeup brushes/ sponges
nail varnishes
nail varnish remover
solar oil
handcreams

Thanks for that. Funny how all sorts of things spring to mind!

Anyone else that sells retail product... Any ideas.

Also, where are some good places to buy from to sell?

I find some places, by the time you have bought them, then VAT on top, to add anything on to make some pennies, all of a sudden, the products seem REALLY expensive!

You would buy from wholesalers such as Sally's,Capital or the like, also your individual suppliers such as St Tropez!!

Retail,well... I will give you an example of what we retail..Nailtopia stickers,St Tropez Everyday etc,Rose and Co products,Nailtiques products.i.e sets, protein, cuticle oil therapy etc, tweezers, nail polish remover, polishes, nailfiles, buffers,Darphin facial products,Australian bodycare products,OPI nail polish sets, there's loads of things to sell.Have a look at the next beauty show see what grabs your interest and purchase what you think would sell well.

As for things seeming expensive well good quality, professional producst do cost more than an everyday brand. Most professional polishes cost around £9.50 -£10.00.If a client complains about the cost explain why they cost more,be proud, knowledgeable and confident in your products you are selling and you will be fine:green:

We sell most of what has already been mentioned plus handmade cards and jewellery
