Revlon colour balls for pre pigging

so as the title says using revlon colour balls to pre pig,a friend of mine is a stylist in a salon and told me they use these to pre pig,ive never heard of them being used this way before,have any one else used them for pre pig?x

I have never heard of this, I have always used it as a colour condtioner, I don't think it would work very well as a pre pig as the colour molecules do not stick the hair like a pre-colour or pre-pig would. i have always used it for example when the rihanna red craze was happening, porous red hair doesn't last, so would use everytime its washed to keep colour fresher whilst conditioning it, but its not going to be as strong as using something else I wouldn't have thought :/ strange! x
