Rockstar glitter stained the nails?

I did pink glitter rockstar nails on a client recently. On removal the nails were stained pink! I buffed gently but the stains didn't budge. This client does have very dry nails so not sue if it has been a one off.

Anyone else experienced this. The glitter used is "fraulein -glitter & flitter 3D Nail Art kit".

Hi, yes it was with gelish base, colour and top coat.

Your glitter might have bled during removal, which will have temporarily stained the nail.

Some glitters bleed when in contact with liquid, the same way that some glitters file silver - it's just the colour on top of the flakes coming off.

I had this recently when I did some fuchsia pink rockstars on my toes. I couldn't believe how bright my nails were! I Minxed them to cover it up

Most cheap glitter will run. I know that a few of the Martha S. Line will. You can look in to Art Glitter. That is the line I use and have had no issues. Art Institute Glitter is a favorite choice for scrappers, stampers, quilters, crafters and artists

I use cosmetic grade poly glitter, they do not run. I bought mine from here and their neon are fabulous! I have 36 colours!

Can you recommend a bright pink glitter by name please, i was thinking of fiesta pink?

I have found it impossible to remove stain on this client, it will have to grow out!
