I have been given a conservative response in regards to spray tanning after eyelash extensions.

Has anyone tried with success?

Yep! In fact i did it yesterday. Lashes first and then spray tan straight after and no problems whatsoever :D

I personaly wouldnt spray straight after applying lashes, just because of the oils in the spray tan solutions. I have sprayed someone 24 hours after with no problem, but I am Mrs Ultra cautious lol so never would immediately after.:Scared::Scared: lol maybe I will brave it one day

hi, i would wait till the tan has taken and been washed off. As the lash's my be greasy.. that is what i do anyway. I leave it till the day after.x

no i definitely wouldn't do a tan after lash application, not worth the risk, but I'm a perfectionist anyway! Would advise the client to have their tan the day before or at least 24 hours after lash application, you want to make sure they have set correctly :D

but what if If there were no oils or alcohol in the spray tan solution why should that be a problem it should nt / would nt affect the glue ?

I was trained that the lashes should be kept dry for at least 2 hrs to allow the glue to set properly. So even without oils, I wouldn't spray someone straight after applying a set of lashes.

I had done quite a few tans immediately after applying lashes and have not had any problems.

well every days a school day !! lesson learned thank you :o

I wouldnt lash AFTER a tan as the pads and or the tape can pull the tan off. Tan the day after lashing, i have a few clients that insist on both the same day and never had any problems I only lightly mist the face on these clients and make them aware that the lashes really should stay dry and free from oils etc
