:)hi, im training at college level 2 in beauty therapy, and wanted to do a few extra courses which we wasnt covering, i went along to sallys and they do some good training days there, however my friend told me that its in house training and the certificate wouldnt count for nothing and i would not get insurances to carry out treatments on a client!!!
IS THIS TRUE:rolleyes:

You could contact The Guild or Babtac and ask them as they are two companys who would offer insurance.

In the prospectus it tells you next to each course who it is accredited by, normally the guild. hth x

You are able to get insurance with a certificate from Sallys, however as an employer I would not employ you with a one day certificate on for example waxing from Sallys. I think they are ok for taster courses to see if you want to go on and do the full course but as an employer I would prefer someone with a proper NVQ etc certificate.

my insurance company were finw with my Sally's courses. They recognised that so many people are now training thrtough them and still need insurance.
just make sure you're complying with all the legislation with H&S and consultation forms etc and you should be fine.
I'm with Salon Gold.
