Anyone got any?

I'm gonna cheat and use Tartan Minx but just got me thinking we don't see many Scottish designs.

In particular the Scottish flag! Quite a basic design, anyone ever done it as fancy french?

I'm like you Lisa and am going to use tartan minx too.

I have toyed with trying to do l&p thistles, might just have a go now.

Hey Lisa,

Me + Fiona did speak about this....we did ask the Minx girls about the Scottish flag etc as we thought it would be extremly popular!

We did get a couple of Black Watch tartan minx in but it went straight out the door....

HTH

OMG Heather please tell me you have some in stock, I need to order them tomorrow!!!

I have looked through loads of sites and nothing. Thought I might find decals or stickers maybe but nope, nada!

Hi lisa

I haven done tartan on fancy french but have dont the scottish saltire flag on a full nail and my client is mad and loved it.

I've got fimo thistles and CRM roses that I bought from Cat Therien in the States. I've got lots (in various sizes), and would be happy to send some out if you are stuck for ideas and need them quickly. You can order them direct from her as well C. A. Therien Polymer Clay Arts

Also, you can get little Scottish Saltire flags here: Sparkly Nails - Nail Art Supplies - Thank you

With the Homecoming year, hopefully we'll all be busy with these! The pink Tartan Minx are very popular with my ladies and I'm hoping to get a set on myself some time this week!

And the Black Watch ... oohh - I've got to get me some of these!!

PS - I'm flying home today, but will be able to send some things out on Thurs if anyone is needing them.

Happy Hogmanay everyone!

I got some tartan ribbon from the harberdashers and just "glued" it on a tip with nail adhesive and cut the extra off with a pair of curved nail scissors. I then just used L+P as usual. It worked really well. I chose a small print tartan, so that you could see the pattern on the smaller nails. xx

Thanks have ordered the stickers, Fabulous!!!!!

Thanks for offer of fimo canes, I do have some of the fruity ones but really need more practice incasing them!

Would love to see some pics if you have them though.

Love the CRM roses, my mum would love those, she's a bit of a fan. lol

Very clever Marion, will try that.

Get one big enough so that the bound edges of the ribbon arent needed to be glued on the tip, as this would maybe make it a bit too thick. Think it was Del or Fi that told me you could do this. xx

Thanks Lisa.
The blue one was wrapping paper the darker one was with ribbon.
Both were difficult to do but I would say the paper was a bit easier.
Get the coloured Brisa hun it is fab for nail art I used it for my "T In The Park" nails.

They are lovely Karen, and you'vemade a great job of keeping the tartan straight. xx

Hey
I was thinking about tartan minx, what about pride of scotland tartan? I think it would be really popular because of the blue and purple. What do u think?
