Self tanning probs!!

This is more of a home dilemma than salon, but seen as how im lookin to train in tanning any info on this prob would be appreciated!!!

I use Xen tan (as i say, this is on myself for home use only), and I love it. Cannot fault this at all. However, any tan i use doesnt mask a problem area on my neck. After application, say 2 or 3 days later, my neck gets white spots - as if the tan has just been removed from those bits!! Then gets scaly and blotchy. As i say i cant blame the tan - used everyone and the same happens. It gets quite embarrassing as for a few days until i can scrub it all off i have to wear scarfs or high necked tops - hardly ideal in summer!

I prep my skin by exfoliating and moisturising, and moisturise everyday. So cannot see what the problem is!! I am pregnant but cannot put it solely down to that as have been self tanning for years and it always happens!

This is something i used to get! White spot patches was so strange!

But once i changed my shower products it went away and don't have that problem anymore, also good exfoliation will help. But definitely look into changing your shower gel or moisturizer as that was my problem.

Have you tried a moisturiser impregnated with DHA on an ongoing basis around this area starting the day after the application of your tan....might help retain the tan longer and reduce the white spotting??
Worth a shot maybe??
