Hi,

Just wondered does anyone sell products from their website and if so is this hard to set up? I am on freewebs and Im having trouble getting it set up.

Is there anything I should know about before doing this, is it all perfectly ok?

Thanks :)

I seel items from my website.

I set it up myself using a company called Remote Basket but my other site uses Roman Cart.

You need to be able to add HTML code to your site to do this. I dont know enough about Freewebs to know if they have the facility to do this.

I use EKMpower shop although I dont know how it compares cost wise as I didn't investigate properly before signing up. Works ok though.

You can do it resonably straight forward and cheaply with Paypal. There are no setup / installation costs for using the Paypal shopping basket. The tutorials are quite straight forward on how to set one up.

Thanks everone for replying i'll have a look at the programmes youve mentioned.

Thanks!

I'm hoping to design my own shopping cart system eventually.

Sorry I forgot to ask is it free to set this up with one of the sites you mentioned? i.e roman cart etc? Or is there an annual fee?

There are fees, but they are not very much for the two I mentioned.
