Semi went too purple/pink and now wants h/lites

I did a semi last week on fine dark hair with a few baby hi-lights . I used the only dark semi we had , a loreal 5.52 richesse as the others were on a base 8 /9 . I didnt have any base to mix it with but as it was on a base 4/5 I thought it would be fine . It went bright pinky purple all around her hairline ! Now she thinks that she wants these areas hi-lighted , where im inclined to use a 5/3 mix on(not that we have it , im inclined to tell her to ask for her money back as everything I say to the boss sounds like blah blah blah). if i use bleach or even hi-lift .. will it go pink ? I fear we are becoming a salon were every client is hi-lift and bleach .
