Hi guys!!!!

I just finished my course and passed it lol. I'm officially qualified working with acrylic and using Young Nails products lol.
The educator was brilliant but she didn't have enough time to teach us all the ways to shape the enhancements and I only know how to do the square and the soft square. So I was wondering if you could help me with the different ways of shaping the enhancements and give me a couple of pointers etc.

Thanks!!!

Hiya .. for a great almond or stiletto shape cut the tip first using nail clippers....(i use toe nail ones cos they are bigger) then file to smooth and define the shape.

If you hold your file almost horizontally under the free edge you get an oval shape, For a squoval nail you hold the file angled up a little higher towards you and for the square you hold the file vertically. Changing the angle of the file changes the shape of the nail. Sorry i havent been trained in any other shapes yet so cant describe any more than that x

Buy a copy of 'nailclass' which will give you the techniques for how to make many shapes. Available from:
