Shellac over gel

Morning geeks
I know this has been posted before but my phone wont let me search
I have a client in at 12 who wants shellac over her gel enhancments do i apply the topcoat of gel sealent to the nails before applying the shellac or do i apply it after my builder layer of gel, thanks in advance, i am shellac trained and this was mentioned in my training but i cant remember which one it is, this is my 1st shellac over enhancements xx

I wouldn't put the gel sealer on just finish file your gel with 180 grit file then apply shellac colour and topcoat, no need for basecoat either, then when she returns for maintenance, you would just file the shellac colour off, do your infil and re-shellac. hth x

The way CND teach it is to completely finish your Gel enhancement including the top coat but you would not remove the inhibition layer then go on to apply your colour coats and finishing with your top coat as normal.
For removal you would file of usually during the rebalance.
