Should my scalp itch?

Hiya I'm only half way through my level 2 hair so not covered colour yet but I've had my hair coloured totally different today and my scalp is itching alot it's driving my mad I can feel it tingling when I'm not itching it. Is this normal when you change colour?

have you used a dark color hun ? sounds to me like you are starting with an allergy , it might be you scalp is just sensitve but i would do yourself a patch test next time just to be sure xxx

To check for allergy, take an antihistamine and see if the symptoms subside. If they dont, its likely not the color, rather a sensitivity.

Just a thought but was the colour washed off correctly? If some tint was left on the scalp that may be irritating it - Maybe shampoo and condition very very well and see if lots washes out - Probably worth doing an allergy test too just in case.
