0.07 lashes, enabling me to put 3 extensions on 1 natural lash (totalling .21 so not excessive) This set has approx 270 lashes per eye

Stunning Blinks. I am also trialling the 0.07s and am loving the feathery look that applying 2-3 extensions per natural lash can create.

I know you and I must sound really boring when we keep banging on about how it is the AMOUNT of lashes that creates the full look. Your pictures demonstrate this perfectly xxx

Oooooooooooooooooo

Blinkinggorgeous these are stunning!

Not at all elliebee I love your words of wisdom x

If the clients natural lashes are strong enough to take a .20 in total (ie 2 x .10) then yes, this is a very effective way of creating the illusion of more lashes on the outer edges and a technique iv used many times.

Although you will need to be careful that they don't droop through weight and maybe only apply 1 x .10 to the real outers and then use the two .10 when you know the natural lash is definitely strong enough. Hope that helps.

Thank you blinkingorgeous, her lashes are strong enough and we've always applied .2 for the past 7 months, I have recently switched to .15 with her in the inner corners as there really are too many lashes there :)

Wow, Can I start by saying what wonderful lashes all you ladies are doing! I am practise, practise, practise at the moment and only hope to get half as good as some of you! I have attached my 4th and 5th sets of lashes I did on two ladies, I am very open to all honest critique, I can see where I've got a couple of sticky areas - each set I stuck to a two hour limit. I can see they're not as uniform in their curve as others, ie they don't seem to go in a solid fluid shape - are they ok? xxx

Hi Claire, keep up the practise and they'll be perfect! It took a good 8-9 months before I felt I happy with my sets.
1) Are you using a slow drying glue? As quite a few seem stuck together and will cause discomfort for your client.
If after separating the lashes and moving onto your next lash you find the glue hasn't dried, you may need a quicker drying glue. Either that or just make sure to aren't using too much glue as you only need the smallest amount so you can't see any glue at all. Small amount on the extension, swipe clients lash then dab the extension on the pad removing excess glue.

2) the sizes look too big, try using .15 and shorter lengths

3) when applying the lashes try to keep them straight (pointing forwards) that way you'll notice they're more uniform

Hope this helps x

Thankyou! I shall endeavour to place more lashes but shorter lengths, I really want to excell at this because I actually love doing it and find it quite therapeutic!!! The glue is the normal stuff from Lash Perfect but I think I could do with something stronger, I thought I was using barely anything but shall re-evaluate when I do my next set! I've only done 5 sets since training in Sept and just need to find guinea pigs, I mean family and friends, who can lie there for 2 hours while I practise! xxx

Here I mine I did Friday ! Lashes extensions are the best !!!!

Eek...so after months of religiously looking at this thread, I've finally plucked up the courage to post a set of lashes. The main reason for me not posting before was that I always forgot to take a 'before' photo and hadn't properly worked out how my super duper camera takes close up photos. After reading a post on here about using the macro setting, voila, I managed to take a photo that actually shows detail!

Here are some I did this evening - it's only about my 10th set. I used J curl .20 in 9, 11 & 13. What do you think? Forgot the before picture! (And I waxed her eyebrows after!) x

In my opinion you've missed too many lashes. Keep practising :)
