Silver shampoo on dry hair

I've seen a few posts circling social media about silver shampoo being put on dry hair and leaving for 10-15 mins before washing.

Has anyone tried this?

No, but I imagine on porous hair it would be effective.

Silver/purple/blue shampoo works wonders if you want to achieve a platinum tone but it does dry the hair out to a certain degree.

15 minutes seems a bit excessive. If you are using the shampoo to achieve a platinum tone maybe just use it for 5 mins to start with and gradually increase.

Agree with the drying out it does it to my own hair although some brands are better than others. EVO platinum blonde is amazing and it's a toning conditioner so much kinder to the hair [emoji7] I have been intrigued with all these social media posts that seem to use some form of foaming direct dye to tone.
May have to do some research!
