I've just ordered a sixtus hard skin remover pad after reading some recommendations but now it's here I'm not sure how to use it for best effect (it's not quite like the usual foot files I'm used to & the instructions on the box are not that clear!).

It's a rectangular piece of hard foam (like flower oasis b4 it's soaked).

Does anyone use this & do you use it on wet or dry feet?
Also, do you dip it in water or use it dry?
And, how do you clean/sanitise it?

Sorry for all the Q's - I've got a draw full of rejected foot files, pumices etc and don't want to add this one to it just cos I'm not using it right!)

Ok Cut the piece into eight that way you can chuck that piece away when you finished so can be assured of hygiene. Sixtus reccomend you scrape it which I dont agree with. (e.g after use scrape the surface with a knife, then spray with antiseptic spray)

Soak feet and then wet the pumice and scrub the clients feet.

I used sixtus products in a salon i used to work in. I always used it on wet feet and it worked fine.

Thanks for your tips - will give them a go.
