Sliced glitter?

Hiya,
I had to go to the local craft shop today and fell in love with some sliced glitters (not sure if this is the right phrase, it is like very fine lines instead of the normal dots!)

I would like to try out glitter tips but am not sure if it will mix into clear powder or if i should just imbed it, has anyone used this glitter?
if it was normal stuff id mix it in clear powder but am unsure if the particles will be too heavy to mix in properly? I dont want to waste powder if it wont work.

Iv looked on youtube but no luck, any advice??

You dont mix it u tend to sprinkle some on a flat surface and pick it up with your brush and dab it on the bits u want your glitter on.

I've done it two ways, depending on the look I want.

I either do as in the video OR for an opaque glitter french, I mix 3parts powder to 1 glitter. Hope this helps (you can always use leftover mix for the rebalance or for a fade)
