Smells rotten!!!

Hi guys

I soaked my first set of nails of yesturday. First i done my mums which i had put on using cnd products. All came off fine no problems

Then i done my sisters who had a set on from one of the discount salons. They took for ever to come off but i put that down to the fact that they were quite thick but they also stunk!! like a rotten smell. Is this down to the priduct she had on not mixing well with the acetone or something else.

Im just wondering what would cause this. Im new to this so have lots of questions about things!!!

The products these discount salons use are low grade and have a typically 'fishy' or rotten smell to them.
