smile lines

I have my own airbrush for doing french manicure on my own nails and am finding it very difficult to do a perfect smile line. At the moment I use the stick on smiles and the airbrush over them and then with not much luck try and peel them off, and then I put clear gel over it, but it is not as neat as I would like. Any ideas nails geeks
