:cry:Hi , please assure me a greenie doesnt make me a bad nail tech ....

One of my most loyal clients had her infills done today, and when she removed her polish,a green circle was visible on one of her nails. She blamed it on the finger painting shed done with the kids at school, said it could of stained the nail.I acted ignorant, soaked it off and thouroughly scrubbed it with scrubfresh, and replaced.

I felt really bad ,should I off been honest and told her it could of been mould?

was the stain removed??? as if it was then it wasnt a greenie. Also where abouts on the nail was it??? As she may have been right as the staining could have stained the nail from underneath the free edge.
I had a similar thing and beat myself up about it but in the end it can be down to a number of reasons not necessarily any fault of your own.....as long as you are confident in your hygeine and prep rountine and do regular maintenance on your clients then that should be enough.
With my client it seemed to be a recurring problem .... she would superglue her nails back if she broke one which caused the first one she got.....with the second one i just couldnt see why....it really bugged me!!!! i think in the end it was down to the fact that where she had tips on.... when they got to a certain length her natural nails would curl away at the sides allowing dirt and bacteria to get between the tip and nail causing it....im not sure if that was the reason but it was all i could think of it being......so i sculpted them and never had the problem again.
Dont beat yourself over it....just review your procedures and asess the nails to see if you can see the cause and fix it .I am sure you are a good tech.

xx
