Hi guys,

just a quick question a client wanted to know and cos i havent worn tan abroad dont know the answer. she asked me if tan fades or streaks when abroad due to chlorine, sea and use of sun creams etc, i was thinking it wouldnt and advised to exfoliate and moisterise as normal to help the tan to come off as even as possible.

thanks in advance any experiences and knowledge greatly recieved

xx

Chlorine acts like an exfoliant and will definitely affect a tan both in britain and abroad.
Hope that helps xx

All the factors you have mentioned will break down the tan I'm afraid, I advise clients to get an oil free sun cream, and take their oil free moisturiser to use as an after sun as long as they are not burnt lol (as have not found an oil free after sun product yet!) and if they want their spray tan to last longer to try and stay out of the pool/sea or take a top up product with them. hth xx
