Spray tanning and armpits

hi everyone,
I'm quite new to spray tanning, how does evetyone deal with armpits do they actually spray the armpit or not, i'v watched the video on tan proffessionals web page and they dont. any idea's?

Hiya in my training we were told to spray lightly in a V shape,,, when the arm is raised up, spray from top left down across armpit, then the opposite side , going from top right down across armpit, so if you imagine you are "writing " a V shape, i,ve done this myself on a few of my friends and so far no problems , hope this helps you xx

I don't spray directly into the armpits. I try to create a tan that looks as though it is natural and you wouldn't see whack of brown armpits on someone so I don't spray into the armpits at all, of course an amount of overspray will hit the armpits put it will be a slight mist. hth

I do also spray under the arm pits, I was trained to do them last along with the face, hands and feet and when I have come to do them on all my clients I have asked them to lift their arms up and I can see that they would def need doing as everywhere has colour and they have none. Personally when I tan myself aswell I would do my armpits so I wouldnt think twice to do it on a client.
some tans go slightly green under the armpit too (due to deodorant and sometimes sweat) so dont be too scared if this happens, it wont be green when they shower it off.

I don't spray directly onto the armpits, but I do spray around them and blend the tan so there is no obvious tan line. I also do a sort of V shape under the arm and spray lightly on the inner arm.
