Spraying insides of arms

Im tantrick trained, when I spray the inner arm, the client is standing facing me with the insides of both arms showing and palms pointing to the floor. My question is, how far do you usually go down the inner arm to avoid tan on the palms? I don't think I'm going down quite far enough - I tend to go down to about half an inch from where the palm starts and find that it sometimes graduates to nothing but before it should but i'm nervous of going just that bit too far.

I am also Tantrick trained and I simply spray from the top of the inner arm and pull away as I get to the wrist. To be honest I never really think about too consciously and have never had a problem.
Next time hun, just do it and im sure it will be fine, sometimes over-analysing some things creates problems that normally you wouldn't think twice about.

I go off on a y shape at the wrist, so I start at the top and go straight down and pull off at the wrist in 2 stripes. I have them standing infront of me with their wrists upwards and their hands in fists so it doesn't go onto their palms anyway! HTH

I barrier cream the palms, spray down & off (iykwim) at the wrists, never have any probs...

Its simply a case of usage and confidence...try it a few times and you will be away :hug:

No need for any barrier creams if you get the technique right :hug:

I use barrier cream on all palms.......

I wasnt trained to use barrier cream but I did catch the side of a hand in the early days (not a good look) so im sticking with it.

Im sure my technique is fine, no complaints so far....I just prefer to use barrier on palms....:hug:

When you put barrier cream on clients' hands, do you wipe it off afterwards? Just wondering what happens if you don't?

I don't apply barrier cream, but I apply a small splodge of moisturiser on the palms after the tan, ask the client to rub palms together then wipe off with a sheet of kitchen towel. I'm afraid there's always a little bit of overspray in evidence, so I know I've got to do it!

I find this method quite useful too, because it's very obvious that there's no tan/overspray left behind so if the clients get tanned fingers/palms, it's because they've been touching their undeveloped tan after I've gone.

This is more or less what I do but am probably pulling off too early, as I said I have their palms well faced down to the floor so I'm probably as you say over thinking it - when you say you pull away at the wrist do you mean pull the gun back or y off? I y off on the sides and back but not so much on the inner.

Collin - I know its probably only a confidence thing but my confidence was battered with my previous training/gun/guns/setup lol

I always apply barrier cream to the palms too. I've never sprayed anyones palms but that's not the reason i apply it.
I have lost count of the amount of clients who start touching themselves when being sprayed!
They start talking and then if they are talking about certain body parts, they inevitably start touching them. They also start adjusting their underwear and if i've just sprayed that area i don't want it going on their palms.
I apply the barrier cream and then tell them not to touch anything until i wipe it off when i've finished.
Even when i've told them they still do it!
I wipe off after with wet wipes.
When i get to the wrist i just pull the gun further away as i get near the palm and 'y' off
