Our water is very hard and i have wondered whether flushing the gun out after use with tap water from a hard area may possibly cause it too get scaly and cause problems with the spray.
I have had a problem with my gun stopping and starting but its fine after an intensive clean but was wondering whether this could be a problem any opinions, should we flush out with distilled water?.Or maybe hard water areas should be using something through the spray occasionally like dilute white vinegar.

Which gun do you have, i think i had this same problem, the spray came out then stop and started. The tube that goes into the cup wasn't pushed into the gun far enough, that fixed me.

I have the t100

Hi Gill,
I really dont think that washing down your gun in hard water is going to cause problems with your gun sticking.

I would recomend getting a can of good old WD40 and after stripping and cleaning the gun spray a light coating on all the components ...this will keep the inner workings lubricated without being greasy or oily and wont effect the solution.

Does the gun only stick with one liquid you are using or is it with all liquids??

It might be worth spraying with water to see if the gun sticks???
definatly dig through hubbies tool box and nick his WD40.and see if that helps..:hug:

I think i just had a sticky needle Collin and my guns fine now but i wondered about spraying through with our water, not washing the actual bits when cleaning (i do that in warm/hot water with a drop of handsoap) when i say our waters hard its really hard i have to descale the shower head every two weeks or so or we are running around to get wet.
So should we wipe along the needle with wd40 to.
I think my liquids fine ive read about the lumps solution can sometimes get and im only using tantrick.

Hi Gillian, if your really worried about your water hardness, just buy some cheap bottled water, warm it up and use that to flush your gun through maybe ? x

ok if your water is that bad and your that worried about the possible ffects then maybe buy a bottle stll water from the supermarket .19p for a litre and use that to wash the gun through.
Also yes wipe the needle with WD40..it will help to lubricate the action .
Hope that helps

Gillian I have the T200, are you sure it wasnt the liquid feeder tube, if its not in all the way in or the seal has some water trapped, I got this chugging spray stop and start. If its a water thing maybe use bottled water. Or could it just be the tan sticking to the needle?? Going to check my gun tonight, you have me thinking now......:eek::eek:

It may have been, its difficult to know.It is ok now though.I think i will spray through at end with the water i use for my steamer and iron though and not tap, as its such a fine spray i should imagine any scale build up may change the fineness of the spray.
