I'm using a large stamp plate, some come out great but a few are smudged, do you remove the inhibition layer of the shellac or leave it tacky?
Also the has anyone used gel fx as a stamp colour and does it work? X

I top coat, cure, wipe, buff, remove dust, stamp and re-top coat.. I've never had any smudging.
Xx

If I've smudged a design it is usually because I didn't scrape effectively so some polish has stayed in between the design.
Alternatively it could be pressing too hard with the stamper.

I just stamp onto shellac colour cured and top coat, no problems x

Oh I do press hard, that might be it, I'll try again x
