stripping colour from hair

i have coloured my hair over many years and has now got a build up of brown looking more black every time i colour it , I would like to know the best product on the market these days that will strip the colour from my hair so i can start again and not damage it any further,

The best stripper i have found is the Elgon Colour Remover. I find it is a very effective stripper and doesnt seem too harsh on the hair.
I know there are many others out there and will be interested in which other brands people rate myself.
