Hi everyone. I'm getting set for my holiday in 1 months time, but am sooooo paranoid about my days out in the sun with my greasy spotty face & neck on view. Since stopping taking Dianette for hormonal acne, my spots have returned & I can feel oil on my fingers when I touch my face. Last year my sun protection made my skin worse than ever! Can anyone recommend an oil free sun care range that would be suitable to use on my face? My body is ok with my usual range, but makes my face greasy, lumpy & spotty (even though it's supposed to be non comodegenic)
Any advise or recommendations would be really really appreciated.

Hi Becs, have you tried P20, I know it is a little expensive but it is the only one my son can tolerate now that his skin is changing (teenage hormonal acne).

This also gives really good protection against UV, he has already had one suspicous mole removed hence the reason for the extra care.

Although this is a little oily it definately does not aggravate his skin and create major flare ups as others do.

I got mine in Boots but not sure where else it is available.

Hi Becs
p20 is good but be careful it does stain a bit, Dermalogica is also good. If you are worried about covering spots use a Mineral Make Up, Youngblood and Jane Iredale are excellent and will also give you sun protection without aggrevating the skin.

Hope this helps.

I find p20 only stains if you don't let it dry properly. If you put it on 20 minutes before you get dressed it's not a problem. I have oily congested skin and p20 is the only thing I can use on my face.
Someone on here recommended a product called Ultrasun, that's oil-free as well. I don't know what it's like though as I haven't tried it.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm going back to see my dermatologist next week as my skin is a mess at the moment :0( I get that oil slick look & my make-up slides. Behind my ears & my face & top of my shoulders are all blocked & lumpy. Some lumps are so painful & don't get heads on them & last for weeks rather than days. So depressing. Just hoping some Cyprus sun will help dry them out (using the right suncream).

I love this suncream for my face as I find with other suncreams my skin can get quite oily.
