I'd never heard of this? Any reviews please re training/equipment and colour of product? Many thanks.

Hi hun, I got my pop up tent from them, loving it, now its been beaten into submission:) and I got a trial pack of the 3 from them, Son in law is wearing the 10% and hubby is wearing the 12% guide colour good, went on well, they smell heavenly, once guide colour was washed of the result is very good, natural looking and gives the skin a smooth toned look.
The delivery was quick, had to be signed for, and only £10 per order.
My daughter is wearing 12% celebrity secrets, again nice sent, lovely golden glow to the skin after showering.
I'm wearing 8% sienna x, guide colour was a bit tango around my feet but once I'd showered this disappeared and again the tan looks very natural.
We're all waiting to see how they fade of etc.
On the customer service side I have to say that the 2 companies that stand out from the crowd are Tantricks and sienna x.
Both companies work hard to build up a good rapport with the customer, on the phone and by email.
Nothing wrong with suntana, they are efficient but not overly helpful or friendly.

Thanks Susie, however I feel like a total fish out of water. Never done anything along these kind of lines before, don't know where to train, how to train, which product to train in, whether they're all the same, whether if I train with one company that I can use another product, where to buy equipment etc?

Prices range from a start up kit of about £600 with sienna x or £280 with LA tanning for 1 litre of solution, a tent & free spray machine. Feeling really stressed right now, desperate to get started but would ideally like training at home so it's one to one but not everywhere do this. My total excitement is turning to utter frustration at not knowing about percentages etc

Just need someone to train me and talk me through equipment etc without ripping me off and really want to get going soon, lots of people waiting to be tanned! x

Hi there, I have been tanning now for around 8 years and have used several different liquids during this time. I have just tried Suntana, I bought a new HVLP and had samples with it. It is so good! The colour guide is fab, they come in 3 strengths and flavours, 8% Coconut, 10% Cherry and 12% Chocolate.

Clients are now reporting best tan ever and they have been coming for years! Very natural, good colour with no orange, good around feet and hands and one girl, a hairdresser who has veins in her legs which put her off wearing a skirt said that these had been disguised enough to wear a dress to a posh do she was attending on Friday night.

I have ordered full size over the weekend as I am so pleased, hope this helps.

Sheila :) xxx

Hi hun

I'm also in Brentwood and did my training using Sienna X at The Brentwood Academy last year. Give me a shout if you need any help (or a guinea pig to practice on!) once you've done your training.

Good luck, hope you enjoy it!

Oh blimey, that's a question. I do still use Sienna X and got all my kit from them in the first place as a package with solutions, etc - I have to say not from any informed decision but probably only because I trained using Sienna X. That said, I am really satisfied with the results I get as are my clients. I spray tanned myself yesterday (difficult but can be done) and most people at work today have asked me if I've been on hols - clearly they have forgotten that they only saw me last Thursday though!! :green:

Not sure what the gun is that I have to be honest. If I was choosing again, one thing I would say is that I would go for the tent with the top half that is clear - apologies for my descriptive inaccuracies tonight, I'm really tired, have had 3/4 of a bottle of wine and am heading to bed any minute!!! Anyway, back to the tent, I would choose the half-clear option as sometimes it's difficult to get the lighting correct in the darker tents, although you can always use a lamp I suppose. I haven't tried the clear tent, but would do if I had to buy from scratch again.

Hope my ramblings make sense. Let us know how you get on with your training this week. Where are you doing it by the way?

thats good to hear your wiling to be a guniea pig  anna and i are going together to sienna x can't wait, it just so happens we were both looking to do spray tan training and live in the same area , so we can take it turns to spray you:green:, how do you find getting clients? and do you retail the sienna x products to your clients ? will let you know how i get on xxxx

Just to add, when Paul showered of last night, we were very disappointed with the suntana 12% judging from the guide colour we were expecting a lovely deep tan, like a 2 weeks in Tenariff type tan and NO it was nothing like that. If I was a client wanting a dark tan and that was the result I would be wanting my money back or a free tan with a different product. My son in law is happy with his 10% but Kay's is better. I'm going to wait a week and then do Paul with the Tantricks 12%, and Kay with the sienna x 12%, will report back:lol:

Oooh, that's disappointing. Thanks for the update though, will keep checking next week :) I have sienna x on last week and it was a lovely colour and faded really well - no patches!! x

I actually disagree, I use Suntana and find all 3 colours really good. I have never had a dissappointed customer and have very happy repeat customers.

Yes I agree I find the colour fine with Suntana and it lasts well without patchiness. Having said that I usually use the 10% so not sure how dark you are wanting.

hiya
i just wanted to say suntana is fantastic, the colour is stunning, so natural and lasts really well and fades evenly. My clients cant believe how nice the colour is. Also the customer service and prices are excellent :) xx

Hiya I just got their HVLP 508 machine with 3 bottles or solution to buy and at a very reasonable buy, I compared different prices from other companies and sunrana won hands down.:)

Suntanas tan solutions are lush! They smell divine!

Colours great and lasts well. A great tan solution for any spray tan technician.
