Supposed to be fasting but have taken Piriton

I'm due to have a cholesterol test in the morning and was told to eat nothing from 7pm tonight and drink nothing but water . . . however at about 8.45pm I had an allergic reaction to something and my eyes starting smarting and itching terribly and I'd downed the Piriton syrup before I gave the fasting a second thought!

They feel heaps better now but does anyone know if taking the Piriton syrup will affect the result of the cholesterol test? Obviously I'll say about it tomorrow, and take their advice but just wondering. . .

I'm no doctor but I shouldn't think that it will make too much of a difference as you've only taken Piriton and nothing else.

But don't forget to mention this when you go for your cholesterol test, just in case.
