Swarovski crystals - top coat over them or add to sticky layer of top coat

Hi, do you topcoat over the crystals or add to the sticky layer of the topcoat? If you topcoat the crystals doesn't it make them dull??

Just a quick reply...no topcoat over the crystals, it dulls the shine. You top coat around them.
