hi guys

last 2 tans i have done when spraying i have had a problem with my machine. The hose connected to the gun comes off so why spraying i have the gun left in my hand and the hose shoots off snakes round and whistles cos the amount of compressed air! im just waiting for it to smack me in the face when it nexts flies off!! lol

should this part be glued in or have i just not pushed it in far enough to stop this from happening again or could it be a fault. the machine has only just started to do this!

would love to no ur advice or ideas please. x

This has happened to me a few times. I don't know if its when the hose it getting twisted round and after a while it is slowly unscrewing without me realising!!!!

do you mean the steel quick release ring is popping off or has the whole thing come out of the back of the gun leaving a gaping great hole!!
the release clip is designed to just pull back and the cup comes off in a second but lots of people unscrew the whole fitting off twisting the hose up!

the whole thing comes out leaving a hole at the back of the gun, and the gun in my hand attached to nothing! lol i then turn the machine off and push the bit back into the gun that still attached to the hose and start spraying again. i did a husband and wife and it happened once on the wife then once when spraying tanning the husband. x

yeh ive got a few t 200 guns in the grave yard out back that this has happened 2 if its still under warranty send it back if not :irked::irked: just super glue it back in place and hope for the best

I'm glad you've said this Steve, because i attended my sienna x training on Monday, and the trainer convinced all who were there to purchase the truespray (that is the t200 isn't it?). Telling them it was the better machine and it will run and run.

I had already purchased my maxi mist after reading LOADS of posts on here about how much better it was (and cheaper). I informed the other ladies about all the research i'd done, and why i chose that machine.

But they still went with the truespray

She was clearly the better saleswoman! :)

we decided to stop stocking the t200 as we were spending so much money on courier costs replacing them and sending out spare guns ect
the 5008 that you have bought they call it truespray we call it sungun is a great machine you will have no problems with it as long as you clean it regularly

Contact Collin at Tantrick 0845 02 2233 and he will sort out the problem for you,
i love my T200 and have never had 1 min of trouble from it, hth

The t 200 isnt a terrible machine and i dont want you to think you have been sold a machine that isnt up to its job,it just has a few design flaws,
the british designers of the 5008 realized what the faults were in the t200 rectified them and produced a better machine for less money:):)
the t200 is over engineered in the costly hose quick release mechanism it operates at less than 2 psi !! and the 5008 push on hose is suffice for the purpose
the air intake and filter system on the 5008 is simpler and mounted higher making it more efficient
the spray gun is self balancing !! the t 200s falls over
the 5008 comes with 2 extra seal able spray cups
and finally and most importantly the motor on the 5008 is built for british voltages 230 + 10 percent and minus 7 so the voltage in your area could be as high as 253 volts !! the t200 has an american motor that just cant handle the higher votages/ampage in some areas :irked::irked:
i know i sound like an electrical engineering anorak but thats because iam one:hug:
the t100 and t200 have been good work horses the ford escorts of the industry but we have weekly postings about this machine letting people down stopping working miss spraying ect
long live the 5008 SUNGUN !! the BMW of the industry it will run forever if regularly cleaned :)
