If you tan a man who is quite hairy would you just gently dab where the tan clings to the hair? Also would it be best for him to be clean shaven or would the tan go thru? Also do people make clients under 16yrs old bring a parent/guardian with them or just get a consent form signed?

mmm I think it is probably a bit to much to ask a man to shave his legs simply for a spraytan.

The thing about spraying a man is...he is the same (nearly) as you so don't be afraid..ok so he is probably much hairier than most (maybe not all) females but this doesn't mean you have to be overly carefull or get rattled by the pending job you have to peforme

So hairy legs or any other areas on a man or woman...simply look at this as just another spraytan job that you have to deal with and when spraying draw the gun back slightly, don't overspray and if the liquid is perhaps just sitting or dripping off the hairs simply waft over with the air from the gun so the liquid is forced onto the skin and off the hair.

Generally speaking it is not wise to "Dab" any area where you have liquid sitting on the hair....only do this in extreem situations,...generally speaking follow the "less is more" rule around hairy areas and give it a good blow dry with your gun. if you have overprayed

So just cos he/she has hairy legs doesn't mean problems for you...just aproach it as a pro..follow the "less is more" rule and you will soon be turning out very sexy tanned legs....shame when you have done so the guy then puts on trousers and you cant see them ...except up here in Scotland when the kilt's come out of course:lol::lol:

With my 'hairer' clients I have found that moving away slightly and whisping down the leg, then back up again will be good to move the hairs away enough with the air from your gun to allow the solution to get to the skin.. if any part is missed on the way down.. it will get it on the way up. Less is more.. keep your solution light and only mist so as not to allow the hairs to become saturated with the tan liquid.
