No we do not sell on E bay and neither do we like resellers doing so either.
Ive had a nose around and don't see any retail items for sale so maybe it was a one off customer who had bought an item from a salon and decided to sell it???

Hi I have had an email from the seller this morning this is the email.
Hi, I don't understand the problem, I have never been told there is a restriction on how and where I sell my goods, which are bought from a authorised supplier. Do you have the authority to contact distributors in this manner?

Its not a one off where someone is getting rid of unwanted products,
this seller is registered as a business,
i have sent a couple of messages to the seller and forwarded all conversions to Britta so you are up to speed with what has been said,
i will email one of the items she is selling on to you Collin, just open it up and go to view all sellers listings and you will see she she is quite the small business

People buy and sell on Ebay all the time... you can't police everything. There are lots of professional products being sold all the time to non professionals, its the way it is, its not worth getting in a fiz about it, it certainly won't change it.

LOL your probably right Jen but as a manufacturer we must be seen to be doing the right thing for our professional therapists who after all support us each and every time the purchase from us.

This is a difficult one as the seller is selling retail items at above retail prices..if they were selling trade at trade (solutions/machines etc) we would have every commercial right to enforce action and have the items removed.

Likewise if the brand was being potentially damaged by the way in which it is being presented to the public and being sold.

Given these are retail at retail + and that the presentation of the items on offer are not damaging to the brand there are strict trading standard guidelines we as a company need to follow and be conscious of before getting ourselves into bother...sounds daft I know but unfortunately non the less true...

As an EU member state we in the UK have to abide by the" freedom of trade" rights (which is an absolute mind field )individuals and or companies large or small.....which does make things a little more complex in situations such as this.

I think there is things that can change it... more of us professionals taking or reporting action against the seller / company who are unauthorised to sell these products!

I for one would not want one of my clients to say "ooo i was on Ebay the other day & I got some tan the same as what you use" I would change my brand like ASAP

Awkward Moment Time :irked:

I for one want the products I use to stay in the hands of professional distributors.....

You might think the product looks unopened & new but it might have been sitting in someones shed for 3 years!!!!!

I say all of us owe it to our suppliers to keep an eye out! :)
