TanTruth machine

Hi Geeks! I'm new to this and i know theres loads of threads on TanTruth but i cant exactly find the answer i'm looking for!
I recently trained in spray tanning and we used TanTruth on the day whish i found nice, but we used a universal machine! just wondering if the TanTruth machine is any use or would i be better off going with something else?

are you looking at there yellow and grey machine as it comes in 2 formats and nozzle types one is an air brush tanning system the other HVLP f most companies our selves included have come away from supplying airbrush systems and have gone with the HVLP 5008 system which is faster/easier to apply and can be used with all solution types

hey steve. I'm not sure cos I rang up to enquire which ones they had and they just said tantruth. i rang them back there and she didnt really believe me that there was two types of machine and didnt want to go check for me service with a smile eh! so she just said she thought it was HVLP and thought it was grey and yellow... gonna pop in on my way home to check tho cos she didnt seem to know what she was talking about!
if it is the HVLP would you recommend it??

i am a massive fan of a the hvlp5008 and i would recommend you buy one of them i have seen the other machine as one of our solution customers who is a geek user bought one and she wishes she had bought a 5008
You get 3 spare cups 12 months warranty and its got an adjustable spray pattern the other machine hasnt
spares are available and the 5008 is cheaper to buy weve had a demo model working its socks off doing at least 7 tans a day since last june and its still as good as new
tantrick, and sienna are also stocking it now and it is taking over from the t200 as top seller its a great machine!

Brilliant, I'll fly in on my way home and have a look to double check its the right one thanks a mil. Cant wait to get it now and start tanning!
Anyone know if LA tanning company deliver to Ireland? Looks like they've a good deal on that hvlp5008.. or of any company that do it?

you wont go wrong with the 5008 wherever you buy it from i think the clue was in the fact that they trained you with a(universal machine)and then wanted to sell you a different model!!
when we train we use the same kit/machinery as we sell to the salon as do every other company i have spoken to

Ok so i went to the shop to have a look at the machine and it turns out its an Airbrush compresser 100! Good thing i didnt believe the girl on the phone...
so is this one a no no??? Looks very like the one we actually trained with but with stickers!!

I would look around online for the 5008 tantrick have 10% off this week, nouvatan, spray tan shop, la tan all stock it just to quote a few. HTH Lou x

it is a no no in my opinion airbrush is so 1990s lol every other company has come away from it you wont need retraining for hvlp its the same principal
you ve been trained to ie( drive a manual car the hvlp is an auto) the only difference is the spray pattern is oval and wider hence faster to apply and you use less solution with hvlp as there is very little overspray
The 5008 is cheaper to buy uses less solution and can be used with ANY solution not just tantruths its Fantastic!! most supliers will give you 12 months warranty it comes with 3 cups and a spares pack :idea:

One more thing and sorry for being a pain!! I've found one that i think ill order later on but ive spotted few different types of 5008 - maximist 5008, star 5008 etc... is there any difference??

No a 5008 is a 5008 lol! Everyone just names it different!

yeh kates right i call ours the Sun Gun same machine as the maximist ect just check how long the warranty is as the manufacturer only states 6 months but some suppliers who have stocked it since it was launched are that convinced its bullet proof they offer 12 months:lol:

Just checked it out and they offer 12mths warranty so im a happy geek!
I cant wait to get it now and get started! I feel like a child waiting on a new toy!!!
Also ... there should be a warning before you register with this site that its highly addictive :lol::lol:

Not sure where you did your training but salon services sell tantruth and i think they do 2 different machines. Not sure if they are the ones you are looking for but they are just behind the red cow and doing 21% off all equipment this month. Also the beauty show is on next week in the rds so you might pick up a discount at that.

Yeah it was salon services where i'd seen it actually, the only two machines i could see was the Airbrush compressor 100 and the Airbrush compressor 75 but i could be wrong though! Im after finding a good one on LA tanning and they said they deliver to ireland.. seems to be bout half the price too. Nice bonus
