Seen LOADS of people re-posting the "mention Facebook as much as you can" post recently. It suggests that the more you mention Facebook the more people that see your post.

It's not actually true (Facebook wouldn't let people simply bypass a multi-billion advertising revenue maker that simple)- but what it DOES show is REALLY interesting in terms of marketing- and it's a lesson you should learn.

More people are seeing your posts- that's undeniable. However, It's not really because you mentioned FB- that's a bit of a trick.

It's actually because people "engaged" with your post because you ASKED them to and they were intrigued to see if it worked.

It's social engineering, not a Facebook "cheat". The people who started that post off knew that'd happen because they understand how Facebook works.

The fact is that more people that engage with a post the more the post shows on other peoples timelines- and then it creates a bit of a snowball effect, and you'll get even more views and more interaction!

So, take the lesson onboard- create interesting content, and ASK/TELL people to interact with your posts, ask them to comment, share and like it!

Feel free to search us out on Facebook as well if you like ;)

I'm bored to tears of seeing this status now [emoji23].
