Hey all, just thought I'd post my evening events from tonight. so, me and my mates are going on a girlie holiday this weekend, my mate has full head bleached blonde hair, white to be precise lol and we thought electric blue panels would be good as we will be clubbing all week.
So, bleach and 6% roots, perfect. Then paneled the blue and after 20mins rinsed it 1st without touching the rest of the hair, then gave it a quick shampooo.
Well, as I rinsed it off all I could see was lovely denimish blue bits, with the top all light/wierd blue!!!!! ahhh I freaked out! had to shampoo it about 70 times (am totally serious) with fairy and even towel dried it and left it in a few times before rinsing it, as this worked really well.
So now it looks the usual white blonde, but if you look close you can see a slight blue tinge, and med/lightish blue panels.
Just thought I would share as earlier I was never colouring anyones haie again, and even drank 2 bottles of wine as I shampooed I was sooooo stressed, but now am ok, and friend is happy so all good. I really thought I was going to havta darken it but I'm sooo glad we didnt as I spent ages getting her liftesd up from black to a beautiful white blonde.
I was crying and freaking out earlire and now I'm fine. Will; defo never ever ever put any funky colour in bleached hair though!! |Totally not worth the stress!
Just though i'd help someone in the future maybe with this!!!
anyone else had this happen before?
Or any other horrid colour disaster stories?
xx

what u mean? im confused. the top all light blueish? did it not take to the root area? if their still a light blue hue and u want rid, sprinkle bleach powder over it when it damp and rub for a minute or so, thatll shift a semi crazy colour no probs x

I'm confused too-lol
You have to bleach it to white when putting blue on so was it just the roots that were a problem?!!

I think you mean that when shampooing the hair the blue stained the rest, was you shampooing upside down???? If I do crazy colour of dark colours on full head bleach I always try to wash the coloured panels separate to the rest and protect the bleached hair with lots of conditioner because these colours invariably run and stain the rest

Lol was a tad drunk last night, had to turn to wine to get me through it!
Yes,sorry, I ment it ran into other colour.
I bleached her roots 1st then washed it, then paneled out the blue and kept it seperate whilst rinsing, but as soon as I put a little shampoo on to make sure it all was out it went on top of the hair.
Used the bleach scotty 1st but it was too blue, it was a disaster!
So just kept washing it and it's great now, although the blue bits are lighter than I'd wanted but at least the top sections of her hair don't have blue bits too! Phew! xx
