and was wondering to myself, would showing something like this to those few moaning clients who go on about patch testing being a waste of time and an inconvenience be more likely to put them off, or drive home the whole reason why testing should be done in the first place?

Oooh, that looks sore.
A friend of mine was just telling me yesterday that her mum had semi-permanent lashes done at a local salon before heading off on a cruise (no patch test carried out) and she took a similar reaction to the glue. She was in so much pain.
Definately drives home the need to patch test xx

Hmmm,it doesn't actually state if she was patch tested or not and if she was given the correct info about how long she should leave it on etc.I always explain to any moaning minnies regarding patch testing,that I wouldn't want them to have a bad reaction or be blinded as a result of not patch testing.I have had the odd one say...'well,ive been having it done for years at xyz salon down the road',and I explain that different tints contain different ingredients etc etc.That's usually sufficient.My job and my clients eyes mean too much to me to risk a slap dash attitude or a useless disclaimerI wouldn't show them that article though,it could easily put someone off and we dont want to scaremonger.
