Hi,

I have a client that is bkd for lash tinting and is really fair - she ha had them tintd before at another salon and said they went quite ginger - can you advise what shade I should use to avoid this issue?

Many Thanks :)

I have fair brows and just use the brown tint. If you are unsure of how the tint is developing, it's literally a case of putting it on, taking it off, putting it on, taking it off until they have darkened nicely.
Also remember to use both the developer and tint itself from the same brand and not to mix brands...xXx

For fair brows I always make sure that I add a tiny dot of black tint to the brown when mixing. Otherwise they can look a bit gingery. I also constantly remove and reapply to moniter the colour. hth xxxxx

I'm not a beauty therapist but I've been having my extremely fair (invisible) eyebrows tinted for 20 years. I've tried everything (mixes of brown, grey and black) and for me brown on its own is best, sometimes needing two applications.

The only time my eyebrows turned ginger was last year when I had a spray tan the same day as the eyebrow tinting, and went on holiday to Turkey the next day........

Use grey or add a touch of grey to the brown. Brown on its own either turns them orange or they fade quite orangey!

Hi, as said just try the brown, if they go a bit ginge add small amount of grey to the mixture as ash tones help cancel out red tones. ( i was a hairdresser in previous life):)
