Tips on hiding/blending hair extensions?

Need some help please Ive had the weave but disliked it as it was too much hassle trying to hide the track at the back. My hair is quite thick everywhere else but thin at the crown of my head, Id really like prebonded extensions in.. anyone got tips to help blend? Having to wash & backcomb my hair every day is such a hassle!
My hair at the back is much longer than the front, Im wondering if Im better getting extensions in only at the side if I cant blend them at the back!

Just don't get the extensions put in too high up on the crown x

I was taught never to put them in below the occipital bone, three finger widths below the crown and keeping 2cm away from the front hair line. If you want height on your crown you'll have to back comb it.
