Hi All

This year I decided that although I want to do lots of different training courses I am going to specialise in Lashes and Brows as these are what I love doing.

Im launching a home salon in the next couple of months and wondered if a) if anyone else specialises in any treatment but esp eyelashes and brows - has it worked for you
b) do you have any launch tips I have a few ideas but would love to hear your views :)

Thanks

Hi Claire! I can't help with question A unfortunately, but I have researched launch parties so here's some of what I found :)

Here & Here! Ooh & maybe have some of these ready, would be a nice touch!

Thank you!

Going to have a read through those threads now xx

Just a little bump -
very keen to hear off anyone who has specialised in a treatment :)

I meet lots of people that specialise in one or two things and run very successful home salons. Go for it.

Thanks Kim :)

Im currently trying to find someone to do my eyelashes and there are quite afew places but none that specialise in lashes and brows which means either no one has filled that specialist gap or there isnt a gap to fill lol lets hope its the first!!

Where are you based?? I only do lash extensions and have done since I launched in Feb last year. I'm busy enough with the lashes and clients like the fact I only do lashes to. Good luck in your new venue :)

Hi
Im based in Stoke-on-Trent, Ive done abit of market research and Im going to do lots more but the intial response is good :)

Did you really highlight the fact you only do lashes?

Not at all, I think it's unfair to assume a beautician who does lashes and other treatments is not as good as you because you only do lashes. But the general clients opinion is 'if she's doing lashes all day every day, she must be good at it' so I'm busy for that reason I think.
