Can anyone recommend a good college to go to? i have heard about short courses being good for working mums and people in full time employment? someone mentioned the carlton institute and after looking at their website it seems really good. any opinions?

What sort of courses are you thinking of?

there are so many threads on here on this subject that to be honest, I have forgotten most of the answers:lol:
A lot depends on where you live and what exactly you are looking for, I would suggest that your make use of the search engine on here, with a note pad and pen by your side and then after you have been sidetracked and back again come back with more questions about specific stuff:hug:

Woops nearly forgot to say, welcome to the site lol

i am interested in all sorts of courses. mainly beauty and nails. i do lots of traveling so distance isn't a problem. i just want to get good training to be honest.

Hi Blondi,

Whereabouts in the Midlands are you from and what course are you looking to do?

I'm currently at Worcester College 1 night a week doing NVQ Beauty Therapy and I highly recommend the college. Very supportive tutors and excellent facilities, compared to other colleges I've been too. If you would like to chat feel free to pm me.

I fit my college work around work too because unfortunately at the moment I need to earn money and can't be a full time student.

Gemma x
