Hello
My girlfriend is a Beauty Therapist, and in the past she has purchased her tunics and trousers from Buttercups. However, the last few that she has bought have not worn particularly well. Seams have come undone, colours have not matched and one set that got returned to them got lost in their system. To be fair, it may not have been their fault, but it just added to problems we'd had.
Sorry if you've covered this topic before, but can anyone recommend a company, or maybe give me some idea of your own experiences with Buttercups?
Thanks for your help.
Steve.

i have a number of tunics from Simon Jersey that are durable and very good quality/design.

Got to say my Buttercups uniforms are fantastic, best I haver ever had. They are cut so well, wash beautifully and the a two I have are made with 3/4 length sleeves.

I also have Simon Jersey ones and they wash really well.

I have also had Simon Jersey but I currently have La Beeby and I have to say if it's looked after they are great :). I bought it at the London Beauty Show last year for £10 and it's been great. My trousers I actually bought from Matalan because I find some trousers are over priced, if I spill wax or anything else on my £9 trousers I don't mind. And they are good quality too.

Cordcourt are the best I have found so far, my Buttercups one is a little Bobbly whereas my Cordcourt ones are perfect. Love the Buttercups style though.

La Beeby are also really good.

My cropped trousers are Matalan £6 each and wear brilliantly

I had quite a few problems with buttercups to :( The uniform I had was a beautiful design and fit really well but one of the diamonte buttons fell off in the first month and the others went a funny colour not long after so I had to stop wearing it.

Ive had them from simon jersey in the past and had no problems but the designs are more on the basic side. Inline uniforms are one of the best but quite expensive, they do last forever though I only changed because I was sick to death of it ! Id had the same uniforms for well over 2 years but they still looked brand new.

At the moment my uniform is from florence roby but it is the dermalogica tunic so not available to buy unless you are a dermalogica stockist but the fit is perfect and I love the material. Really impressed so I think if I need any further non branded tunics I will try FR again.

Thanks Supergeeks, you've been most helpful. As it happens, Kirsty is a Dermalogica stockist, so Florence Roby may be well worth a look. Thanks to everyone else for your comments and ideas too, as I have already looked up the companies you have suggested, including La Beeby.

I've had Buttercups uniforms in the past and never had a problem with them at all but I just got fed up with that crap polyester fabric that makes you sweat like hell in the summer.

I've got my new uniforms from Beauty Street, nice stylish kimono style tunics and the trousers are elasticated at the back so nice & comfy (especially after lunch!). They are polycotton which is a lot nicer fabric & doesn't need ironing much. All in all I'm very happy with them.

Not cheap though, but then you get what you pay for.
