Hiya,

I am in a tizzy here, can anyone help me? I have been asked to fill in a chart for my college work on the effects of steaming and I cant find the answers to the questions anywhere.

Effects of steaming on mature/dry skin and how long to steam for??? Anyone help me out?
I now it rehydrates but anything else for this skin type????

Also Which skin type would steaming just be a general cleanser and kill bacteria??? I know its not mature or oily/blemished.

We have not had any course notes on this and I cant find it on line or in the Janet Simms book...any help would be fab.

The effects of steaming for dry/ mature skins- The steamer stimulates the blood supply to the skin and therefore delivers oxygen and nutrients to the skin to nourish and brighten the skin. It also makes the skin more receptive to the other products later in the facial.
I hope this helps,
It is the ozone gas which is present in most steamers that kills bacteria.
And the stemer would be a great cleansing treat for all skin types

Thanks so much.....
