Hi, I just wanted to double check with you geeks ...(Im sure I was told this on my popit training I could )...can I use Brisa paint liquid on the whites of a french to avoid replacing the smile line with l & p?

Why you may ask , well luckily all my clients have the natural look, and now that dreaded time has come and Ive new client booked in whos needs the dreaded french rebalance doing. Its been a long time since Ive done one and TBH I werent too happy with them in the past, but luckily have escaped them for while.:)

So being as its a new client and shes left her other nai tech, Im hoping to impress. My plan is to rebalance in pink ,do the whites with the Brisa gel,and then I normally finish with NSI glaze n go.

Do you think this will work?

I think you'll have to put a clear layer over the white, then your finishing gloss. Not sure how effective mixing systems will be. Best to work with same product and brand.

Shouldnt be a problem, I have l&p on my big toes (reconstruction) and used BRiSA paint on white for the french. Its been on there for about 8 odd weeks.

So what do you use for top coat please, or do you buff the l&p to a shine and then apply the white?

You don't buff to a shine Debbie, refine your nail after applying the pink(don't buff), the apply your white then top coat, I normally use brisa top coat.

hth :)

No, sorry I realised after I said that ,you wouldnt ..doh! ...My only prob is Ive only Nsi Glze n go as a top coat , so maybe will have to wait to see if I get a reply from someone who has used both together,Glze n go is supposed to be compatible with all systems anyway.

I have used both the BRiSA top coat and Ezflow Gel it top coat (not at the same time) (ducks for cover and hides)

You should have no problems with what you want to do .......... BUT you really should invest in the complete system and with the cut the cord deal there is no better time.
Brisa sets to 3 surfaces; rough, inibition layer and brisa bond, so dont file your nails too smoothly before applying Brisa paint.
I finish with Brisa gloss tho you need the lamp which is the most important part.
