Hi
I am new to doing acrylic and gel nails, I have been practicing on my family and its taking me around 3-4 hours to complete a full set of acrylic usually with two coats of colour then top coat of uv gel.
I use odorless powder and liquid (anyone with any positive and negative feedback on this system, apart from not stinking would be appreciated) today I did my usual two coats of nail varnish over the acrylic then top coat uv and stuck it under my lamp for 2 mins then attempted to wipe off the sticky coat with gelish cleanse. This made the nails look awful, the top coat went all funny and did not give a smooth finish at all.
I cant understand what went wrong as I have done the same routine before and this has never happened! anyone have any ideas?
Also on my speed, I have changed from using well tips to non blending tips to shed some time off however, I am still taking far too long and am starting to really loose any confidence I had.
