Hi, After continuosly hearing good things about this product I just had a phone call from one of their representatives. She is sending me some samples but was explaining there isn't much of a guide colour. Can anyone who uses this tell me how they get along with application, do you need to double spray and does it have good staying power?? I currently use Fake Bake and really love it as do my clients but I know by day 5 it starts to fade. Would love your feed back if poss. Thanks.:)

Hi Tina, I use Vani-T, I actually find there is a good guide colour, I don't find it light at all. I have no problems with applying it at all. I don't double spray, but do a light mist at the end. Most of my clients get a good 7 - 10 days out of it. It is quite often still on after 2 wks, but not very dark by then. It wears really well too and doesn't tend to go patchy. From speaking to clients who have used fakebake, they prefer Vani-T and say it last longer, but everyone is different so I am sure there will be others who prefer fakebake - i can only go by what my clients say as I haven't used fakebake before.
Just give it a go and see what you think yourself.
Good luck,
Jen xx

When you say a light mist at the end do you mean all over?? Do you know how many tans you're getting out of a litre?? The rep said you don't have to have your gun up as high so use you less, she said around 40/50 mls. To be honest only use about that with Fake Bake. She is sending me 8% and 12%, do you use both of these?? Thanks for your reply, Tina.

Yes I just give a general mist over front and back, very light.
I get about 23 tans per litre, depends on the sizes of clients etc, so give or take a few.
I do use both 8% and 12%, the colour guide is the same for both, just a different DHA level. Both are popular, but since I only started in Aug last year I have found the 8% to be most popular. Expect that to change over the summer months where people want to be darker.
Hope that helps,
xx

Thanks Jen, I am very excited to try this out. Will let you know what I think when it arrives. Tina

I use the 12% a lot more often than the 8%. Most of my clients are quite tan already due to the warmer weather, I only have the occasional few who like a lighter tan.
