Very dry skin

Hi Geeks,

Wonder if anyone can help me?

I get very dry skin on my face and its starting to really annoy me now! Ive tried so many different creams but nothing seems to work. I ended up going to the doctors because you can really see it, especially if i wear make up. I got given Diprobase by the doctor. Theres a very slight improvement, but it is quite oily - not good and leaves my skin feeling wierd!

Any tips or advice?

Have you any ecxema anywhere.Are you on a low fat diet,what do you use to cleanse your skin,do you use toners with an alcohol content.Do you drink enough.

I've got the same problem sometimes and I use Eucerin 10%w/w urea treatment cream.
I only use a tiny amount but it clears up the problem for me

Dry skin can be caused by many different things, finding the cause is often better than simply treating the symptoms. Finding a good, reputable beauty salon is another thing to do, as it's difficult for any of us to adequately help without seeing your skin unfortunatly. Where abouts in Devon are you?
