Vinylux weekly polish

Hi has anyone tried using the vinylux top coat with other polishes? Does it last as long if you mix systems?

VINYLUX is formulated to go with its own top coat and other polishes are not.

You will have to experiment with it, but it won't make other polishes last up to a week, because it is the adhesion promoters contained in the colour coat that make VINYLUX last so long.

I have used it over other nail polish, it did help it I last a little longer but not 7 days, probably the biggest plus was it stayed a lot shinier for longer with the vinylux top coat on

I confess to having used gilded pleasure over shellac without Vinylux top coat (eagerly slapped it on when it arrived and dashed out the door in minutes). It dried uber fast, didn't chip, looked fab and wore for five days until I took it off yesterday. Because it didn't chip or look dull, I didn't get round to putting top coat on it.

Should be used as a system, but wow, what a performance!
