Wahl clippers

About to buy wahl clippers for a barbering course. I have been told wahl silver? Is this a brand.

There are so many to choose from. I want a pair that can be plugged in and my budget is about £40

Please advise. X

Buy them from a shop that sells professional products. I use the wahl taper 2000 I think it's called

And make sure u oil them or it's a waste of money

As above, I also use the wahl super taper.

My wahl super tapers were about £80 with mini battery operated set too. I would look to spend about that on a set of clippers.

As well as regular maintenance (as mentioned above), once the blades have lost their sharpness you can just replace the blades, rather than the whole thing.

I'm a barber so aim to change my blades every 6 months or so, to keep them super sharp. I've had the body of my clippers for about 4 years and just changed the blades (which are about £12 a set). It's worth spending a bit of money on!
